Villa Lajares is located in the traditional, picturesque village of Lajares and is within a 10 minute walk of the village centre which offers a small selection of bars and restaurants, which include typical Canarian fare, a fantastic Argentine grill, a vegetarian restaurant and a pizzeria. Lajares offers the perfect setting for villas in Fuerteventura due to its location close to beautiful beaches. The main resort, Corralejo, is a 10 minute drive and has a water park, a market and an excellent selection of shops, bars and restaurants. It is also the location of the world famous dune beaches. A 5 minute drive will also take visitors to the charming, unspoilt village and cove beaches of El Cotillo.
Villa Lajares is set in extensive private, gated grounds and has a delightful, secluded, flagstone courtyard, which offers privacy and a peaceful setting. It is partially covered by a wooden pergola, has an integral stone bench, a sub-tropical garden and high quality patio dining furniture for six guests. This provides an idyllic setting for long, memorable hours of al-fresco relaxation in the warm, sunny Fuerteventura climate. The solar heated, 8.5m x 4m swimming pool is situated in the front of the property and is accessed by Roman steps. It has an adjacent solar powered, poolside shower and is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace with sunloungers. The swimming pool has the enormous benefit of being in a walled and gated area for the protection of small children. To the rear of the villa and accessed through the play room there is a shaded garden planted with lemon and olive trees. Here there is a large hammock in which to relax with a good book. Villa Lajares is definitely one of our most popular villas in Fuerteventura.

Villa Lajares is one of our largest villas in Fuerteventura. It has been newly decorated and fitted with very high quality furnishings in keeping with its traditional, Canarian architecture. It has a feeling of space throughout, created by high, vaulted, wooden ceilings, which also help to keep the property cool in the summer months. The attractive living room is furnished with leather sofas and has several sets of patio doors leading to the garden and courtyard. The marvellous, country kitchen is entered through an archway and also has direct access to the courtyard. It has a dining area and is very well-equipped. The main section of the villa has three bedrooms. The spectacular master bedroom has a king size four-poster bed and an en-suite bathroom with a corner Jacuzzi bath and a separate hydro massage shower. There is a bedroom with twin beds and one with a double bed which has a play room off it. This has a Play Station 2, doors to the garden and a double sofa-bed suitable for two children. There is a separate family shower room. An excellent feature of this villa is its first floor annexe, which is reached from the gated driveway. It has a large room with an attractive, pitched, wooden ceiling, a double bed and an en-suite shower room. A fridge and kettle are also provided and there is an electric fan and a heater. If required, there is an additional charge for use of the annexe.
For guests staying longer than one week there is a weekly maid service and a mid-week towel change.
