Costa Teguise is situated on the east coast and is the furthest north of the main resorts. It is the second largest resort and is blessed by being in close proximity to a wealth of beautiful and interesting sights, locations and fabulous beaches. A ten minute drive from the resort takes you past the hillside hamlet of Oasis de Nazaret to the magnificent old capital of the island, Teguise, which is the venue for a busy, Sunday Market. The lovely, tranquil town of Teguise contains some excellent restaurants and specialty shops and is well worth a visit. Despite being quieter than Puerto Del Carmen, Costa Teguise itself has a good range of shops and restaurants and a weekly market. Nightlife is relaxed and centers mainly around the hotels although there are a few nightclubs, bars and quaint pavement cafes. Its palm-dotted promenade and wide tree-lined avenues give the town an airy feeling and the superb, white, sandy beaches provide the ideal place for relaxation. Costa Teguise is a very popular choice for those seeking villas in Lanzarote with easy access to beautiful beaches and a more relaxed atmosphere. Transfer time 20 minutes.
