The Melia Salinas is the only 5 star Deluxe hotel in Lanzarote and is considered as an icon of Canarian cultural heritage. Location
The hotel is ideally situated in Costa Tequise, which is in the North of the island. Located on the ocean front at Playa Las Cucharas, a beautiful white, sandy beach. It is 15km from the airport and 2km from the Costa Teguise Golf Club, the only 18 hole golf course on the island.

Families
Cots are provided free of charge for infants under 2yrs of age. Special rates for children under 12 years. Interconnecting rooms are available for families. Children's Club for 5yrs-12yrs open Easter, July - August, Christmas & New Year. At other times of the year organised activities may be arranged depending on the number of children present and the Children's Zone is open year round with a playground, mini-golf & a multi functional sports field.
Guest Rooms
The hotel has 227 rooms, including 24 Junior Suites. All rooms are decorated in attractive shades of green, combining marble, the finest materials and the most elegant furniture, each with spectacular views. There are also 9 Garden Villas each with its own swimming pool.
Guests staying in the Suites or Garden Villas receive the hotel's Red Service, which provides enhanced personal accommodations and a myriad of preferential treatments and facilities, including a pillow and linen menu, exclusive check-in, late check-out, pastries, coffee and tea from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and a tranquil, pool for the exclusive use of Royal Service guests (adults only).
Double Rooms – each room provides a private bathroom with hair-dryer, air-conditioning, safety deposit box, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, mini bar and a balcony or terrace with sea view or land views. 24-hour room service is available. Interconnecting rooms are available. Max. 2 adults & 1 child.
Family Rooms – interconnecting Double Rooms. Children receive a welcome gift, mini-bar with children's drinks, turn down service with milk/juice and biscuits. Available with garden, pool or sea views. Max. 3 adults & 2 children.
Red Service Junior Suites – provide twin beds or a four poster bed, a lounge area, large bathroom, separate cloakroom and a large sea view terrace furnished with sun loungers and a parasol. Max. 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children.
Red Service 1 Bedroom Master Suites – elegantly decorated, spacious separate living area with a dining table, bar, CD player, 32" flat screen TV and a sofa bed. A separate, large bedroom with King Size Bed, 32" flat screen TV, en-suite bathroom with a jet shower and Jacuzzi bath and a private terrace with ocean views, sun beds and a Jacuzzi. Max. 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children.
Red Service Garden Villas - unique villas are surrounded by walled gardens, with a private swimming pool, outdoor dining area, bali bed and outdoor volcanic shower, four poster bed with canopy, bathrobes, cordless telephone, CD player and a selection of music, daily newspapers and magazines, tea and coffee making facilities and fresh fruit. Guests are offered exclusive services in the most exquisite privacy including a 24 hour butler service. Max 2 adults (no children or infants).
Dining – Bed & Breakfast or Half Board
A buffet dinner is served at the main hotel restaurant, The Atlantida. Guests on Half Board who wish to dine a la carte rather than take the buffet dinner will receive a 15% credit towards their meal. La Graciosa - international a la carte cuisine surrounded by tropical gardens and fountains (open in high season) Atlantida buffet restaurant with live show cooking and daily changing thematic evenings, La Bodeguita – for Spanish Tapas, Especias – specialising in rice dishes, La Tarantella – an Italian restaurant. The hotel has 2 bars - Guatiza which offers live music and professional shows and the Snack Bar which is located next to the swimming pool, offering drinks and snacks.
Heath, Beauty & Fitness
The hotel provides a gym, social club and sports courts for guests to enjoy. There is also a health and beauty centre offering a hairdresser and facial and body treatments including liftings, skin cleansing and peelings, sauna, massage and hydro-massage.
