The villas are nestled on the edges of the Fuerteventura Golf Resort and are integrated with attractive landscaped gardens complete with beautiful flora and palm trees which provide a serene environment in which guests can unwind and fully appreciate their time on this unspoilt island.
Location
The Villas El Descanso are located within the Fuerteventura Golf Resort on the East coast, just 10km from the airport and 12km from the island's capital, Puerto del Rosario. The Atlantic Shopping Centre, which is just a few minutes walk from the villas, provides a host of shopping, dining and entertainment needs including a 10 pin bowling centre and a multi-screen cinema. There are also some quiet beaches within walking distance, one of which boasts a unique island bar, El Chiringuito, which is accessed via a long wooden bridge. There are also two 5 star hotels within walking distance.

Villas
The resort consists of a selection of three bedroomed villas each of which has been beautifully furnished and decorated. All of the properties overlook the attractive golf course or gardens and have a large terrace and garden furnished with sunloungers and patio furniture. Each villa has its own private swimming pool measuring 9m x 4m (heating optional) and a generously furnished outdoor dining area and BBQ for guests to enjoy. The villas also feature a large roof terrace with splendid views over the golf course. The kitchens are fitted with granite worktops, an oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer whilst a separate utility area offers a washing machine and ironing facilities. The air-conditioned sitting rooms overlook the private pool area and golf course and provide a Satellite TV, DVD player, Stereo system, a dining area and large patio windows leading out to the patio. Off the living room, an internal staircase takes guests to the roof terrace from where there are commanding views of the golf course, clubhouse and the Atlantic ocean. Moving away from the dining area, a corridor leads to the three spacious bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds and share a family bathroom. The master bedroom has solid wood floors, a king size bed, large fitted wardrobes, air-conditioning and a large en-suite bathroom with a shower and Jacuzzi bath. Villas receive a weekly weekly maid service, linen and towel changes. Additional services including a daily maid service and more frequent linen and towel changes can be arranged.

Dining
Accommodation is sold on a room only basis but the Golf Resort offers the St. Andrews restaurant in the 5* luxury Hotel Elba Palace Golf should guests wish to dine locally. Special champagne dinners at the St. Andrews restaurant can be arranged in advance as can a typical fish and Tapas dinner with Sangria at the Chiringuito beach club restaurant.
Spa
Enjoy the nearby Spa at the Hotel Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf and Spa Resort where there are 12 treatment rooms, a steam room, Sauna, Hammam, Ice Igloo, heated internal spa pool with heat treatments, vitality pool with showers and a health centre. For additional relaxation and pampering guests may visit the hotel's beauty centre which provides a range of manicures and pedicures as well as a hairdressing salon. Spa and treatment charges are payable locally.
